(aka garyball 2.0)
With my first raffle winnings, I decided to use part of it to reboot this for FE. With this fuck:
For those who don't know, the aim is to send the gnome around the world to different FE members, where every recipient takes a picture (or video) with it, as well as signing it. Optionally, you can send the next recipient a separate gift(s) along with it
Also, as befits the roaming gnome, I was thinking everyone this time can take a picture of it at an interesting/distinct location (I'll take a different picture before I send it on). Whether it's a landmark near you or just somewhere in your house. UP TO YOU!
SO WHO'S IN? (note: pls only sign up if you think you'll send it in a reasonable amount of time. Anywhere under a month or so after receiving it is fine)
previous travels
signed up (not necessarily the order)
KC (Utah)
Rob (Canada)
Chris (Ohio)
drr (Pennsylvania)
Patrick (Pennsylvania)
Brian (Virginia)
Nofo (North Carolina)
Zersch (Tennessee)
Mal/Moose/Shiki (Georgia)
Simp (Louisiana)
Craig (???)

SO! Buffy's gonna be getting this first. I'll have it out by the end of the week. I was thinking it could go out west first (JJ/KC/Vern(?)) before it goes back east where most people are
signed up (ordered by proximity):
KC (Utah)
Rob (Canada)
Chris (Ohio)
drr (Pennsylvania)
Patrick (Pennsylvania)
Brian (Virginia)
Mal/Moose/Shiki (Georgia)
Simp (Louisiana (if anyone's willing to send to him Ps) ))
this can be switched up if someone would prefer to send to a certain person or if more people join in ofc. Just a general guideline

It has been sent! Farewell, gnome. You are now free from the frigid, desolate wasteland known as Wisconsin

as much as I'm sure the gnome is enjoying Oregon, any idea when it's leaving?
(put the list in the first post btw)

tbh it only cost around $5 and took 2 business days to ship from Wisconsin to Oregon (i.e. halfway across the country) so I don't think geography's really much of a factor

If the gnome does resume its travels, remember they must isolate for 14 days when they arrive at their destination. |
|
oh, I just read about being Gnome being chewed up. |
I mean he's still in tact and can still be sent, the sigs are just missing from him which was part of the novelty I guess. |
tbh I wouldn't mind if we kept it going, like you said it adds some CHARACTER in a way and I honestly forgot about the signature part so don't think that's really a big component. In a way it'd almost be more entertaining if this was just the first of several injuries on the gnome's journey
But not a huge pref between that and starting from scratch
