And I do find Greenday's a role a bit iffy now. Maybe he was banking on the Mentor/Mentee being a normal cult that he could fake a claim on? It's risky, but it's a good claim. It just seems odd that there'd be TWO recruiting factions in this game. That seems a bit much for a 25ish person game

It was just that Curtis wasn't even really saying it was evidence against you, he wasn't FOSing you over it or anything, but you still lept right away to clear your name. I dunno, I don't think the ACT of being defensive is necessarily scummy, it's just how/when

Brian hasn't said anything that makes him suspicious though, nor has he been I do agree that I look suspicious, but I think I'll look suspicious no matter what I say. At least at this point. I'm not certain who is or isn't scum, I just feel that it'd be flawed of me to not consider both options when suspecting someone. Especially when I'm only 50% sure whoever I'm being suspicious of is scum. And yeah lol, I know that I'm suspicious of them because they're being suspicious of me is the worst possibly theory to go on. I only truly know my own alignment and can only trust in the people I think are town and go with my gut feeling. I just have a feeling that scum are keeping me around at this point, because they probably hope that I'll get lynched instead of one of their own.

If scum are doing that, I think it's far more likely they'd let town go after you rather than get their hands dirty. That's pretty much the entire reason for mafia to keep suspicious people alive

At least Perry must be town. Also, something Hot Cocoa commented on in regards to something I said about Perry protecting Rose for the rest of the game even though he had no idea of her alignment yesterday. Quote So he could make anyone bulletproof without knowing their alignment? I didn't even think of it that way. I really hope he didn't make a mistake if he's telling the truth. If it was given to someone that was mafia or third party, it only makes them more powerful. It's an intersting thought, but it comes from confirmed scum so who knows if it even means anything.

This is actually pretty interesting to me, because sometimes scum will come up with "theories" like this that aren't actually theories at all. It's possible that HC just wanted to keep suspicion on drr, or maybe he knew something that we didn't

This is gonna sound really metagamey (because it is!) but I'm pretty confident that Vernon is scum. I guess I never really noticed it before but reading through today his posts have been EXACTLY like how they are when he's scum. I'm looking back at his D1/D2 posts now and they seem pretty much the same way

Basically when he's scum he's always reserved and tries to appear intelligent, and throws out suspicion/questions people without being too aggressive. Completely the opposite of his erratic, aggressive nature when he's town

Patrick - has been incredibly lurky and only just now started contributing. I'm pretty sure he always plays like this but still, it's pretty scummy
Buffy - I'm not that sold on her at all, but she's being incredibly defensive about every accusation thrown her way

g0 - almost all of their posts have seemed like lurking scum to me. What I really don't like is how he's stayed out of lynching anyone and keeps bringing that up as a reason for why he's NOT scum which...is pretty bullshit! It's possible it's just inexperience, which is the only reason I'm not fully convinced
Vernon - like I said, it's entirely based on metagaming, which is the reason I'm not lynching him for it yet. But he does seem like his scum self to me

Looking up Tim's character, I think I buy it. I can't figure out how it would work mechanically, but it seems like a possibility show-wise. I'm not sure how much we're actually allowed to discuss it, but the Buffy wiki entry for Slayer is what I'm reading.

HIGHLY doubtful. I don't think I've ever played a mafia game where a non-vanilla role was IDENTICAL to another role.
