That brief part in the church was one of the high points of the game for me. Amazing atmosphere

btw the lyrics in the hymn they were singing in the church end up tying in pretty closely to the plot! It's pretty kul

The whole sequence in the museum is one of my favorites. The art design blows me away

That's strange. I never ran into anything like that
It appears your only solution is to finish the entire game tonight

I don't wanna give anything away in case you play it but Daisy threatening the child makes a lot more 'sense' after playing the DLC

Murder of Crows is the best. I don't even care if it's not the most powerful, it's just so SATISFYING! Especially killing one guy with it and having his partner run past his corpse and get attacked too

Yeah the plot of the first doesn't really tie in with this at all. I still haven't played the first (yet) and this was a top 5 game for me

I found the cipher. Yay
And now as soon as I go make more tea, I'm going to go play for a few more hours.
Just had the fight where
|
|
Lady Comstock resurrects the giant pile of the dead in front of Comstock house. HOLY SHIT I SUCKED AT THAT. I finally bought all of the upgrades for the bucking bronco vigor and used that to keep the dead away while I fired at Lady Comstock, then ran and bought more salts every time I ran out. Still managed to die once in the middle of the chaos.
How exactly do machine gun bullets hurt a ghost anyway? |

That was the hardest part for me too outside of a certain part near the end. You'll know when you get to it (:
I found possession worked really well there actually, even though you get less uses. Since it's such a wide-open space if you possess one of the dead and quickly hide away they'll kill a bunch of their fellow dead.
And I think Lady Comstock is actually suspended in some sort of neither-live-nor-dead state at that point. Not that that makes it make much more sense but yeah (: |

STILL HAVEN'T BEAT THIS FUCKING BATTLE >:( |
|
|
|

It's so much harder than everything else in the game. I think every other fight I probably only died 2-3 times at most, but I think took over an hour to beat that one
Of course, it didn't help that the first couple times I had no idea that I was supposed to be defending that core. I thought I was just supposed to destroy all the airships (: |

Is this the battle you were talking about?
I really have no idea what I need to do here. Every time I take out one group shooting at the reactor, another group replaces the previous within seconds.
I've been using myself as a human sheild just to slow the reactor's death a bit. Using possession on the patriots to slow them down a bit with using crows on the humans. Using Songbird to take out zepplins and groups of people on the ship while using the crankgun on the smaller ships. But there's too much going on at once and Songbird is really slow to respond. AND OBVIOUSLY, HUMAN SHIELDS ONLY LAST SO LONG!
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, just that I'm doing something horribly, horribly wrong. |

lol a lot of that sounds like what I did tbh. Though I didn't camp in front of the reactor which may be your problem. I was constantly using the skyrails
basically what I did:
- used vigor almost solely for possessing Iron Patriots
- never use the Songbird for attacking troops, always save it for the zeppelins
- used the fuck out of the skylines to attack the foot soldiers
If you're good with a sniper rifle (which I'm not really) you could go to the highest point of the ship and snipe people off, and they won't even be able touch you. This also gives you the best vantage for incoming zeppelins so you can Songbird them right away |
