I don't think you should need to do anything, I think it just depends on the game. I remember being able to just plug-and-play a 360 controller for HL2

That's what I remember! Maybe I had to enter something on the in-game console too, I dunno

Everyone should get Half-Life 2 if they haven't played it yet. Only $2.50 right now!

Tempted to pick up Stanley Parable too but not sure it's worth $10 for that little gameplay

If I buy a game on my account is there a limited number of times I can download it? Trying to figure this out with changing to a different computer.

Yeah you bought it. So it's yours. It's like owning the physical copy.

some physical copies have a limited amount of times you can install tho

I haven't bought any games that had such limitations. Which ones?

EA games mostly. I remember Spore having a 3 install limit

so Square Enix has a big sale going on right now

http://store.steampowered.com/sale/squareenixpublisherweekend2015/

Any recommendations? Tempted to pick up a Final Fantasy game even though they've never really interested me before. I do like RPGs though

I think I'll pick up Tomb Raider for sure

Got Tomb Raider and played it for a while tonight. Really fun so far, would definitely recommend. Lots of adrenaline pumping moments

I played The Vanishing of Ethan Carter for a bit, but haven't gotten too deep yet. It's pretty good so far. Really pretty game for an indie too

I've been meaning to get that game so I'll definitely pick it up now

is Borderlands 2 worth getting if you never played the first one? I'm tempted after playing Tales from the Borderlands
