obviously would be ideal if Matt Reeves was continuing on, but the director of Rise didn't/doesn't exactly have a great filmography outside of that movie, so who knows maybe Maze Runner man will make a good one too

Jaffa & Silver being back as writers is probably the more important part tbh. They skipped out on War, which I did like mostly as a spectacle but Rise and Dawn had the strongest character moments of the trilogy

that said the trailer was eh and my expectations are still low! But I will be watching!

weakest of the series so far but still liked it, solid 7/10

Can't BELIEVE they did my boy like Raka like that. Heartbreaking. The rest of the characters didn't quite measure up, especially Caesar Proximus who was quite the disappointment compared to what that role could've been. He was way dumber and easy to dispatch than he had any right to be, even Koba could've outfoxed that guy and that's without 300 years of societal progression. Still, I liked a lot of the ideas in this, some very solid worldbuilding. Enjoyed it overall and hope to see more!

makes sense after this movie. Not sure this arc will be as COMPELLING but there's plenty more story to tell
