that was a lot to take in!
I feel like they could've done a better job explaining some things, and some of it wouldn't even have needed clunky exposition. Like I didn't really know whose kids were whose til at least halfway through the ep which made that dragon pit scene very confusing. All they really needed was a quick scene with Rhaenrya and Alicent with their families before that, seems like it would've been a simple fix
Snot nosed punk Aegon's gonna be a fun char I think
Larys was the standout of the ep though, really like that actor's performance. Kind of like a Littlefinger but with a bit more menace. Although another thing I think they could've explained better is...how...exactly those mute guys scorched his dad/brother? That felt p hand wave-y to me
New Rhaenrya is fine. We'll see how she is when she gets more to do tho, she was mostly in concerned mother mode this ep
Liking Cooke as Alicent so far. Although maybe a shade too similar to Cersei so far, hope they start fleshing her out a bit more than "I do everything for my keedz"
Considine as Viserys continues to be so great lol. I loved his innocent happiness at Rhaenrya's proposal during the small council scene. His heart is far too pure for this world, how is this dude a Targaryen | can't believe Daemon got to stay in the kingsguard after that outburst! |
