great:
1. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
2. Guardians of the Galaxy
good:
3. Iron Man
4. Iron Man 3
p good:
5. Avengers Endgame
6. Black Panther
7. Spider-Man: No Way Home
8. Thor Ragnarok
9. Spider-Man: Far From Home
10. Spider-Man: Homecoming
pretty clear drop-off after the top 10 for me, after that it's basically the standard MCU mediocrity tier

Ironman 3 is one of the worst movies for me. Surprised you have it so high |
that's what my friends say too, it's def my hottest take on there
but I'm a sucker for Shane Black and this was a rare instance where it was an MCU movie that felt like it had a directorial voice (last act notwithstanding cuz that part did stink)
and I liked the Mandarin twist at first but I've come to love it for how many fanboy tears it's created

Guardians of the Galaxy was my favorite Marvel movie when I watched the sequel to it, and I remember being so utterly disappointed and meh about Star-Lord's dad and everything with that. I never watched it again. It felt on par with... Thor: The Dark World, and you don't want to be that. Maybe I should give it another chance. I love Kurt Russell. |
oh man, it's easily the one I've revisited the most. For me it's the Yondu arc that I really love, still get a little CHOKED UP at his sacrifice/funeral scenes. Might be the only times I've felt real emotion during a MCU movie actually?
Really liked what they did with the Gamora/Nebula storyline too. Too bad that got thrown out the window in the new Avengers movies! (: Hopefully Gunn can somehow salvage that
also the big Yondu arrow massacre scene might be my favorite scene visually in any of these movies
