Looks...interesting! The fact that most of the movie is essentially one giant single take is exciting but I'm not sure how 90+ minutes of that is gonna be

I really wish BULLOCK wasn't in this though. I hate her

Quote
Perhaps that’s fitting, since “Avatar” director James Cameron, whose pal Cuaron screened the film for him four weeks ago, is among the picture’s most ardent champions.

“I was stunned, absolutely floored,” he says. “I think it’s the best space photography ever done, I think it’s the best space film ever done, and it’s the movie I’ve been hungry to see for an awful long time.”

!

And 100% on RT so far. I'm pretty excited

GOOD MOVIE! The story itself wasn't the greatest but the visuals more than made up for it. Kinda the same way I felt about Avatar (although I liked this better), if you're gonna see it at all then see it in IMAX 3D or at least regular 3D. The spectacle was pretty incredible

That sums it up more or less! The story's pretty thin. It's mostly just a vehicle for the visuals

Well, it seems I'll buy just the dvd/bluray thing and watch it at home >_>

You'd be missing out! I think it's really only worth seeing in theaters
