hey this was good! I don't think I'd put it on quite the same level as Guardians but it was still a whale of a time

GOOD:
- Harley's big escape scene. Felt like the spiritual successor to Yondu's arrow breakout from Guardians 2. Great stuff
- Bloodsport and Polka Dot Man. Def my two fav characters. Was sad to see PDM go but liked his little arc. And Bloodsport's climactic duel against Peacemaker was satisfying, although I would've RESPECTED the move to keep Cena dead more. I know there's a Peacemaker TV show coming out but I actually thought it'd be a prequel up until that end credits scene
- King Shark was also fun tho not quite the showstealer that I thought he might be
- Group 1's beach massacre. Gunn really knows how to deliver with his openings, was NOT expecting so many people to bite it that quickly, thought they'd drop off much more gradually. Weasel's "death" and TDK's death were classic
- actually a pretty satisfying ending! Pretty rare for a comic book movie. I liked that everyone had their own unique role to play in the fight and that it actually felt fairly original and not just another generic skybeam/minion army fight
BAD:
- most of Harley's scenes tbh. I think Robbie does fine with the character, but I just don't like the character itself. Her dialogue kinda stunk
Obviously HBO Max + COVID have a lot to do with it but the fact that the original movie is gonna end up with over triple the box office as this one is so sad. And Aquaman is gonna be like...5x as much
