so this is out now. I kinda agree with the takes that this shouldn't have been priced at $60 but I think the NEGATIVE reviews over just that are a bit much. It's fun! Pretty much exactly what I wanted out of it so far, really well-optimized (my aging card is surprisingly running it at 4K/60fps with no issues) and great gunplay. There's also a new perk-building upgrade system that gives it a bit more replayability

mostly because...you really need those perks. My group has been grinding away on veteran difficulty (aka medium) and have only once made it to the last level of Act 1 so far. But besides the fact that you're getting practice, you're also slightly more well-equipped for the next time with whatever perk unlocks you get so it makes it a feel bit less like banging your head against a wall

also, haven't played it much yet but glad to see they kept the PVP mode in, always loved that
