You'll notice that the phrase "I dare you all to try" is an empty threat. If you look at it from a pure syntax perspective, it's a true statement. He does indeed dare us all to try, but he neglects to provide any actual examples of what will befall us if we do. It's a bluff, and quite a bad one.

It's the same stunt he pulled in Lab 2.5 for the first bit of the game, and it worked pretty much perfectly.
And, I'm considering you because I'm considering everybody, but it seems a little too perfect that suddenly the train is jumping towards Panda. If he turns out to be (a rather foolish) townie, then I wouldn't doubt that you being scum would have something to do with it. Plus, if you'll excuse the metagaming, you're generally not this active or invested unless you're being evil. |
