Not to be a cOnTrArIoN, but I think binging is much more effective in building immersion and having the plot impact you, yadda yadda. I'd be binging this, if I had enough self control to hold off filling an hour with it when I'm bored each week.

Enjoyed the first episode. A lot of exposition, but hopefully that means it's all out of the way early. Was worried about them downgrading the special effects for TV, but it still looked as good as usual to me. 40 minute premieres feels so much nicer than 13.5 minute ones.

Yup, love The Expanse - still haven't finished the newest season after getting 3 episodes in and forgetting it was on each week. You can literally just choose to not turn on the next episode and think over what you've seen for an hour or two, maybe peruse a discussion thread online, then jump right back into the story when you're ready. If it's a whole week, I just stop caring about the show and characters over time. Especially if the week's episode sucked.
