There's a local art show coming up very soon! It's not really a huge deal, and most years I don't even attend, let alone consider making anything for it, but I could use the potential cash, so MEH.
What I want is ideas for what to paint. NO FANARTS/NO PORNZ, stuff that could potentially sell to the boring people who judge these things. I think I might also be forced to get the thing framed in order to submit it, so it needs to be WORTH framing.
Any ideas are appreciated! I can't promise I'll use them at all, but they could help me out a lot.
It's got to be traditional art as far as I can tell. No digital stuff because Wilkes Barre is too backward to know what a computer is.
Any help is greatly appreciated! | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

Usually they prefer more traditional stuff. I haven't seen much abstract or extremely strange stuff get in. Its just a tiny local art festival thingie so people in my area can pretend they're cultured, but I didn't realize until recently the fact that most of the ones that make display do get sold, and I like the idea of money. Otherwise I wouldn't really bother.
I still might not depending on how busy I am around the very near deadline. | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

No one in Wilkes-Barre wants to see anything remotely related to Wilkes-Barre. | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

That bridge is right near the magestic Hotel Sterling, probably the coolest looking thing here.
The courthouse is pretty nice too and near there. But the current events in the area make painting that seem like some kind of loaded political statement. Hotel Sterling would be like that too...
Maybe I will paint General Bear Brigade. | d ( i n o s r o a ) r
