this felt like most of my family get togethers

ANYWAY I FINALLY WATCHED AN FE WATCHES YAY

I enjoyed it. I was very ON EDGE the entire time and it did a great job of ramping up the anxiety even in the little things. The tension and awkwardness was intense.

I wasn't surprised about the brother-in-law ramping up and going after her like that though. He seemed the TYPE to me. Those dog jokes really gave me a bad feeling about him I guess, the way he was shittalking his wife and her passions/compassion like it was something he had to "deal with." I really liked Krisha pointing out that her sister had to deal with him while he was dealing with her. That line felt very important to me, kind of playing off of the things Krisha has had to deal with even though she's been "the fuckup." It felt like there was a lot more going on there with the family and her sister and her mom that was left unsaid and that line really supported that for me, along with "they're turning you into one of them."

I didn't know what it would be about going in but I figured some kind of shit would be going down at dinner, and realized pretty early on it might be a relapse. Briefly I thought she might just kill everybody when they left her alone with the turkey prep tho. The fact that she'd done something to the family in the past was obvious though, so I figured it would be along those lines
