FIRE with earth bending as a close second. Firebending is neat and even if it's a militaristic dictatorship the Fire Nation doesn't sound like a bad place to live. Water Tribes are lame, Air nomads are dead, and the Earth Kingdom has Lake Laogi.

Yes. Give S1 a little bit, it's a slow starter imo but very much on par with a lot of live-action shows, especially later on.

ATLA and Gravity Falls are the two best animated series I've seen. I wasn't able to get into the sequel series for Avatar but I've heard it's pretty good too
