Dealing massive damage to an entire train is mostly going to hit town. Hitting someone and all of their visitors is ALSO more likely to damage town. Those two abilities make way more sense for scum imo. Watching is really useful for scum too!

What about bomb or hunter or vindictive townie roles? They punish people that lynch a townie. You think Ahoda is being vocal and made a role claim that would make others think he's scum? Rose ... Yeah. Why not?

Vindictive townie chooses a target. They actively make a choice to kill a single person who they believe to be scum. They COULD and often do hit town, but it's not an unpredictable violent act.

Bomb kills the person who kills it. Not random, has utility since it takes out a killing role. That role could be town, but isn't necessarily.

PGO (assuming thats what you mean by hunter) is a purposefully dangerous role that is unpredictable but it's design can be defensive. It has utility for town.

But if you're targetting someone AND all of their visitors, you're not protecting the person, since you're hurting them too. You aren't going to damage large amounts of scum most likely, since most vistors to town are town, and most visitors to scum are town. It doesn't have the same kind of utility those other roles do.

A rolewith two indiscriminate kills is a lot more useful to scum than to town. I'm not saying it is 100%, but I think it is more likely scum.

I disagree. That's just Hanzo. He shoots with arrows and his ultimate only hits things in its path. I don't think it's a very scummy role. In fact I think you can look at anyone's role in the game and say it sounds scummy because this is an odd game with many random powers

That's a fair point then.

I still feel like the role and all of its abilities are weighted against town though and a lot more useful as a scum role.

I also know what it's like to finally get a cool role and then get railroaded for B.S. reasons, so my empathy goes out to him.

Honestly this is the main reason I'm reconsidering.

I disagree. Any characters can be anything, and town will likely have roles that aren't 100% town, but it's probably not just random either. Scum needs to have the tools they need to win, and so does town. If all of a person's abilities are more harmful towards town and have a lot of use for scum, I think we could make a call that that person is more likely scum. But again, I dunno the characters so maybe everyone has a double edge like ahoda's if it's town

To be fair, Herm got called out for letting it tie up in the first place.

Guys tie is sudden death, not no lynch. It's not even that bad.
