This is one of those shows that sounds like I might like it sometimes, but other times sounds stupid to me, and that I want to see to decide for myself, but am also too incurably lazy to try to watch it.

My biggest concerns about this show is whether or not they'll manage have a balance between DISNEY and EDGY SHOW FOR ADULTS. I feel like the show would be walking a tightrope, especially when introducing new characters frequently.

Does it manage to be a good homage while still telling its own story?
