I agree! Toppings are pointless.

I don't eat burgers at all because I don't like them (UNPOPULAR OPINION) but I never have toppings on my hotdogs. I don't like ketchup or mayo or mustard or relish.

4. I hate cake and pie 9. Kingdom Hearts is the best game series (not sure this is unpopular, but considering what everyone else talks about and the fact no one else plays this besides me and Rose, it's probably going to be unpopular)

I think it seriously depends on the kind of cake you're talking about. I think Bryce disliking pie was more startling to me than the cake part. Cake is pretty meh if its not good cake, and I have to be in the mood for it.

Apple pie is great, but I am pretty picky about it and I usually won't eat berry pies either. Dry cake is annoying and not worth it at all

Fuck seafood. I've had fish before because I was little and saw an Emeril show about caramelized salmon and it sounded pretty good, so I decided to beg my parents to help me cook it. Apparently it turned out good, but I didn't like it. ALL OF MY PRECONCEIVED IDEAS ON ALL FOODS: JUSTIFIED.

I've always been the extreme picky eater of my family and for most of my childhood everyone, especially my family, would try to shove stuff in my mouth so I could discover it was secretly wonderful all along. The only thing this has EVER done is make me hate that food forever when I might have originally just been neutral on it. All condiments have been ruined this way. And even now if I eat something slightly different or steal a small bite of something new, I get stared at like I'm defusing a bomb. NOT ACTUALLY ENCOURAGING.

I'm MOST willing to try something new if I actually buy the ingredients and cook it myself. It at least eliminates the horrible mental images of where it might have come from and I at least have some control over the taste that way.

I also go through cycles of what foods I'll actually willingly eat. Usually stuff like mac and cheese or scrambled eggs I will have years-long breaks on eating because of one bad experience or mental image or just not being in the mood for it for years.
