The flavor I was given made it seem like if we waited, it would burn a good amount of days. I know from the game that if you let the journey wait too long, it gets much more difficult towards the winter months & I figured taking the risk earlier and saving us from more winter days would be better.

I feel like that is assuming that the person bartering has a large amount of supplies. They probably have a low amount to start, so I don't think we can automatically assume they're scummy just because they didn't hand over some food for free.

@Lamps: To answer your question, no there is nothing else that comes with being leader. Just the choice.

I think trading out who gets the leader/lookout roles is more important than handing it to the same person over and over. Especially if we don't know exactly what it does yet.

With that being said, I think we should hand it to Havo.

The leader is able to do whatever they want at night, it’s only the lookout who cannot as far as I can tell.

This is right, the leader role isn't any kind of block.

I'm happy to hand to leader role to Brian for tonight if we don't want to buy the shotgun. But I'm afraid that with it being such a high price, it's going to become important for us later.

I don't know, I still don't buy it. He still could have just seen they were colored in general and gotten context clues from old games about what colors the hosts use. It's not that much of a stretch to think Penner would do something like that.

But I agree, it's a shitty way to play either way. It's already turned it into a meta conversation rather than actual mafia. Are you having fun, Penner? (:

For those keeping score This game has had: slavery, spoiled food, prostitution, a mislynch, a mod kill, a dead person who refuses to go away, a shirtless gay man recklessly take us through a storm, and a lookout who watched someone get robbed and went "anything happen last night?" And it's only day 2

Back to the day at hand, I think we should figure out if the shotgun is something that we want to invest in or not.

All these people coming in to drop leader/lookout votes and then vanishing feels weird to me.
