Honestly, don't know who they would get to replace him. He's a solid coach, and has done well, I just hope boosters/fans/AD doesn't start getting unsatisfied with 9+ win seasons and being competitive year after year ...

This is what is wrong with college football currently. It seems every school expects to when the NC and if they don't they run off and start firing people. Most schools need to be satisfied with the above and hope once in a while they can pull off a run at the NC.

Ben @ 1/12/2017 13:30 Jimbo Fisher is leaving FSU for Texas A&M. I bet there are sanctions of some sort levied on FSU wihtin then next two years. Why would you leave Florida State for Texas A&M? Family reasons. He had a messy divorce and his son has a rare disease that he had to keep taking him to Houston for treatment. This wasn't a football decision at all.

Also, apparently the FSU facilities are lagging behind the other top schools, Clemson and one other were specifically mentioned. Jimbo has been trying to get them to move on a huge renovation but has been butting heads with the AD.

Fuck. The elephant saw his shadow. I get 4 more weeks to listen to this shit at my office.
