Was a fun game, until I got killed. But even then, great setup and loved watching the concussionism's throughout the game :)

Mass claiming isn't something you can really stop without a rule against it. Whether people choose to claim with little to no pressure (DS) or wait until pressured/close to a lynch, the only way most people back off of a lynch is after a claim.

Go back and look through any game you want, you'll see the same thought process used over and over again. Let's pressure "X" knowing fair well the end result will be a claim unless X chooses not to which pretty much no one does because they know the only possible chance to survive is claim or hope someone else chooses step up and possibly out their role by posting information.

It boils down to who is picked to pressure and how believable the claims are as they come out. If enough are believable or supportable/provable with information gained the cycle continues to the next person until the mass is happy with the lynch target thus producing the mass claim effect.

Did I say you were?

Whether DS outs his role with his first post of D-1 or waits until he is L-1 whenever that happens, the difference is only the timing of it which goes back to paragraph 3 of my previous post.

# of claims each day = how quick pressure builds + how believable a claim is + any information that can be used against the claim

If the game moves along fast enough and the people who are pressured have provable roles that are probably town or people who choose to post information to support the claim, you get more role claims then if you hit a role that can't be or is harder to prove or scum that is making up a role/gets caught in a lie and the day ends more quickly.

DS only increases that # by 1 (himself). So while yes, many don't like how DS chooses to play, overall it doesn't impact the game as much as people are ranting about.

How many people each game actually choose to claim with little to no pressure?

A percentage of total players please.

I am not talking about people claiming under pressure. I am talking about most of the game just outing their role, DS style, for no reason.

Again, I thought badger was going to shoot me and that I needed to claim

Cause and effect. Make a big list of people and indicate you have a day kill to use. Lots of claims follow.

Solution? Make smaller list or pull a primate.

I'm still happy with how that day played out. Getting both of the SKs was worth outing DS. I should have been more clear that I was no longer considering killing him though lol.

I didn't mean for that to be a dig against you. Just pointing out the fact that some of the claims were necessitated because of a daykill, not people claiming without pressure. Daykill's force claims faster since it's not based on a vote total/deadline but rather whenever the holder of the daykill pulls the trigger.

The real question is, did Maddie already have those bookmarked/saved to her hard drive or did she have to google them?
