Reaper WAS a founding member of Overwatch but in the time period that the game is in (after Overwatch has come and gone) he joined up with Talon, which is kinda your stereotypical group of baddies. So really he is a bad guy.

But like it was said before, just because he's a baddie doesn't mean he's bad in this.

The game and the lore are kind of separate. They're all referred to as heroes in the game, though in the lore some of them are very obviously evil, or at least criminals - Widow and Reaper - while some are more chaotic neutral and don't care for laws - McCree, Roadhog and Junkrat come to mind.

Of course the game doesn't have any story aspects, so they're all treated as the same (heroes), simply to give people a chance to play them without having to differentiate between good/evil characters and give reasons for why the bad guys are working with the good. Sort of like how everyone in LoL is referred to as a Champion, even though some of them are criminals.

Just watched the new Bastion one. It made me hate him much less, surprisingly. Definitely worth a watch.

I don't really have any thoughts on the role itself. I think it could probably go either way. I'm judging him more closely because of how quick he was to give up that he had an 'important' role to begin with. He was cool with the vote and then suddenly did a 180. That's more suspicious to me than anything else that has happened today.

That and I think the reason that everyone is voting for Chris is a little silly. But all of this is coming from a novice who has never played mafia before, so I could be very, very wrong.

It's just a joke, especially the way it played out.

That may be. As I said, I haven't fully decided on my vote. And at this point, I'm up there for lack of any better options as well.

It seemed suspicious to me as an outside player and I don't really have much more to go on than that. He seems more deserving than the other people up there to me, but I guess that's why everyone has a vote.

This is confusing as all hell and I'm just trying to make sense of it all.
