Is a thumb a finger?

By definition, a thumb is not a finger. It's a thumb. You have eight fingers.

You have 5 digits on each hand, and 5 digits on each feet. On each hand you have 4 fingers and a thumb, and on each foot you have 5 toes.

Now that I’m re-reading that, spin said that humans as a species have 5 fingers AND 5 toes on EACH limb and I’m just wondering how people look like where spin lives

Yeah, it should be, though maybe fingerless is a better marketing tool to fool the masses. I also dont think i want to define the reality of my life by the decisions of people who make fingerless gloves... or Spin.
