I’m at home in a two-week (at least) doctor-ordered quarantine. Waiting to hear if I’m getting a test...

I always wonder about that. Are you allowed to order food/groceries? Do they leave it at your door?

I can find bottled water easier than tp right now it's crazy

I haven't been in many situations where I've actually gone pt before something happened. But empty shelves of tp in every store, even gas stations, amazes me.

People are getting creative as far as which kind of stores to find this stuff.... Office Depot? Then I went to the grocery store and the shelves were so ravaged... it's pretty crazy.

Staples here has plenty of bottled water and paper towels sitting right up front now instead of any office stuff it’s crazy

Keeping your dad in my thoughts, Curtis. My parents are honestly at the root of my anxiety from this whole pandemic, so I can't even imagine. Fingers crossed for you and your family.

Sadly one of the first things I had to decide was I wouldn't visit my parents during all this. And thankfully they are healthy and in good shape.

Yeah, it’s really hard for me being having the entire country between my parents and me, but I sometimes wonder if it would be even harder if I were close by. The best we can do is let them know we’re close by constantly staying in contact. I’m trying to call and video chat when I can. Our family group text is popping off.

My brother dad and I do a weekly call so we stay in pretty good touch. I called my mom everyday until i think she was getting tired of me checking on her lol.

Mom is working from home now so I know Dad is taken care of now. I worry a little less.

This damn disease just cost me my summer teaching gig. Instead of getting to go camping in the mountains of Colorado for 3 weeks in July, I instead get to sit at home and teach a online gen-ed course, in the oppressive heat and humidity. Hope everybody is safe and healthy.

I got my booster and was a little off the next day. Worst part was arm hurt and we were lifting 75' tv's 20 feet in the air up on ladders. Arm was sore all weekend.

Funny thing was i wasn't even thinking about my booster. We were at a doc office doing speakers and she asked if we wanted boosters and said sure. Mine was little early but i said i doubted i'd be back so got mine. That was a couple weeks ago.


Wife got covid this week. Rapid test confirmed it yesterday, but going to doc today.
My test was negative. Parents were here this past weekend, negative tests. Clients she saw last 2 days negative, as well as coworkers and workers next door.
She's miserable but doesn't have the extreme stuff like loss of smell and taste. Mostly cold stuff.

I'm quarantining the next few days anyway though so i'll miss christmas.

My dad has Covid, probably omnicron, did the rapid test. Both parents got their booster shot 3 weeks ago. I'm almost certain I'm getting Covid, i'm starting to feel sick, but not sure yet.

I hope both your parents are ok. Hopefully booster helps.

One thing to be careful of is mind really plays tricks on you. After wife tested positive there's times i'm sure i feel sick but then i realize i'm fine. Even took another test this morning, still negative.
