Considering the possibility of your claim being made up isn't really the same as holding your role against you. It's just so specialized it's hard to not mull over for a minute. The only time I can see where it would help is if you and Nofo were alive and the Mafia was one lynch away from equaling Town and ending the game and they happened to pick your vote to steal and it cock blocked them. The flavor as someone whose vote can't be bought or something definitely fits the theme, no one is saying otherwise there.
