Love coffee. When home, we do ultra dark roasts- grind the beans fresh and use the french press. I'm kind of addicted to the Gunpowder coffee from Mom's right now, but since it is like $15 a small bag we tend to cut it with other stuff like Trader Joe's Bay Blend.
Despite liking it ultra dark, I will always add heavy cream and likely some vanilla syrup. Other times, I'll do some caramel syrup. All this holiday season I've been putting in egg nog instead, but the supply is starting to dwindle.
If out and about some where, I'm likely to get a mocha- hot or iced depending on mood and where I'm getting it. Iced means I can get that caffeine into my system faster, but if the place does an awesome hot mocha (like 9th Street Espresso in NYC) then I will definitely get a hot mocha. At places like 9th Street, I usually end up going through like three mochas each morning because they taste so damned good.
I am not adverse to getting those energy drink coffee things either (like the Starbucks Double Shots or the Monster Mocha Java shit).
