Madness/Paranoia- Love a good story where you can't trust the main narrator/character. Session 9 does a great job with this.
Sci fi- I always like me a good sci fi flick.
Vampires- This gets so many crappy movies unfortunately, but when done well becomes very entertaining. I like to see twists on the classic story/set up, like I Am Legend (even if it is far from the original novel), What We Do in the Shadows, and Daybreakers.
Haunted House - Always ready for a good haunting. Just rewatched The Changeling a few weeks back.
Witches/Cult- Though these often cross the line to madness/paranoia films.
Least favorite: Found footage. That shit with the handheld camera leads you spending too much time with jumpy, jerky cameras that you get sea sick instead of scared.

I thought the concept of Blair Witch was interesting- the multimedia run on that was pretty revolutionary (providing web sites with information on the team, their research, and the like). The actual movie is mostly meh, though, and got parodied a bit. | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |

I really hate comedy horror. It seems like a waste. Like mixing sweet and sour. |
Shaun of the Dead is such a classic! | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |
