There used to be a place downtown in DC named Ten Penh that was an asian-fusion place. This was the creme brules they always had in these little pots. They were fantastic- the lime was lightly sour, the lemongrass subtle, and the mocha like coffee custard.

And Ten Penh isn't around anymore, but it was awesome.

They also had a sake martini that was garnished with a baby octopus. After a couple of them, I'd argue with the octopus.

I was gonna put hot brownie with vanilla ice cream on top, but I'd already done sundae and decided not to.

Oh fuck yeah. Richmond, VA is fully of them. Redneck hipsters drinking PBR because it is "ironic". It's terrible.
