I like all the stuff listed. So I thought of it like when you stroll up to a guy with a big pit BBQ set up and you get to choose two meat items, then you get mac and cheese and baked beans too (because cole slaw is the devil's work).

Not everywhere has a decent potato salad- there's a lot of bad ones out there, so it is always more of a gamble. My own potato salad would not be a problem.

Fried okra is just bad. Almost as bad a concept as deep fried pickles.

Very few people in the world would pick okra over mac and cheese. Those folks are likely criminally insane or gluten intolerant.

Soy sauce is fine- I 'm guessing you only had cheap soy sauce that's in the little chinese food packets (mostly crap and HFCS) or Kikkoman. There are some Korean soy sauces with anise that are fantastic.

Love it. It's great on tacos. My wife has a professional sense of smell and loves it. Seriously, she could smell dadd farts in Oklahoma from here in Virginia.
