I've taken a self defense class- No, but my ex-GF from years ago was taking Tai Kwon Do with an ex-Olympic guy and she'd teach me just enough to be able to spar with her (aka get kicked and punched a lot).

I've stolen something and got caught- Never been caught.

I've lived with a roommate- Freshman year of undergrad had four roomies, Sophomore and Junior year had two roomies (the same guys) and senior year had two roomies I never met because I was living with my GF (eventual wife) off campus.

I like to bake- I like baking, but not for myself. I'm a pretty good cook, but if it is just me, I cook shit. But I'll cook all kinds of things for my family.

I presently own a bicycle- Being a bike commuter would be very hard without a bike.

I've gone to the gym in the last month- I never go to gyms, but we have a gym in our building that I shower in after biking into the office. I get bored working out so I don't do it.

I snore- Who told you I snore?

I iron my clothes- Nope- I use the sauna in my gym to pull wrinkles out of my work shirts.

I have at least five family photos displayed in my home- We have pictures of the kids.

I've danced in front of a crowd- Used to on club nights in college and at the occasional concert, wedding, etc.

Vlady, recipe for your rye bred and french bred plz. Also, how do you get that golden sheen on the french bred?

The NY style rye is easy and the actual amount of work isn't a lot, but it will still literally take all day, because you go through multiple risings over a large number of hours. So the work is not much, but you have to do it multiple times throughout the day.

To get the sheen on the french bread, you just brush egg whites on top before baking and again during baking. Here is a fairly easy recipe:

Yeah- that rye bread is fucking awesome and just the perfect texture, but to get it, you have to go through the multiple risings, starting with the 1-4 hours for the first sponge creation. :)

As I said, if I only cook for me, I don't do shit, but I'll cook tons for family. IPA smoked gouda soup, stout candied bacon, scallops wrapped in duck bacon, or my Fathers Day meal a couple years back: maple bourbon beef tenderloin wrapped in bison bacon
