I have a collection of something

I collect board games (mostly old wargames like Avalon Hill), RPGs, and certain anime related toys. We've also got a decent collection of art nouveau objects at our house, some arts and crafts furnture, and some art pottery. We also collect vintage Halloween stuff.


I've been a cruise

Been on an overnight ferry in Greece where we had a stateroom; that's as close as we get to a "cruise".


I believe in ghosts

Don't believe in spirits or souls per se. I have had some unusual unexplainable experiences but the scientific part of me chalks that up to a sort of "emotional energy"- you get a strong enough emotional reaction and you have some charged up brain electricity that may "polarize" an object or place, much like you can use an electrical field to create a magnet.

I'd love to believe in demons, working magic, and spirits but, while entertaining, they are not real.


I've thrown up from drinking

Not since college- both my tolerance and my self control are much better now.


I have a strong phobia

I have mostly over come it, but I have a bee phobia. Being near one produces anxiety that I control now- used to send me running. It will sometimes flare up if one of the bumbles bounces off of me, but I'm mostly past it.


I've won a contest

We once won a side of beef growing up. It was awesome.


I have an unusual talent

I have a bit of a photographic memory. Doesn't work 100% of the time, but when it does, it freaks people out.
