I don't think free will is taken away based on your upbringing - you're just a little more hardwired in different ways which makes your decision making pretty parallel. But that doesn't mean you don't have the decision to rebel against your normal disposition.

I believe there is free will. What's acceptable and what is able are different things. I can do whatever I'd like to, I just might get retaliation or negative feedback depending. Doesn't mean I still can't do/believe/or say something. |
