I'm going to watch Attack of the 50 foot Cheerleader tonight and just continue my cheesy horror movie roll!

Alright, since I rarely watch these I figure you are the people to ask...what would you recommend for beginners? (aka the 12 y/o is asking to watch scary movies :P )

You should start him off with classics... The Shining is one of the best around. Psycho. Rosemary's Baby. None are particularly graphically either (atleast compared to modern stuff). Blair Witch project. Scream.

I watched Psycho last night. It was decent. Vince Vaughan is a creep though.

Don't let your 12 year old son watch Nightmare on Elm Street haha what?!

I think I was about 13 or 14 when The Sixth Sense wasn't actually scary to me and just a thriller. But I was baby when I was younger. I used to get nightmares all the time. Now I love scary movies and can't actually find a decent one that frightens me...but I like watching other people! =D

watch the Hitchock one, Bryce :P :P

then watch Birds and Vertigo and North by Northwest

See, I thought it was done by Hitchcock, but it was a different one. I didn't know there was a remake, I just watched the one on Netflix. I should have known better though as Netflix usually has bad knockoffs and just terrible movies in general. =P

I'm currently watching a movie called "Rubber" which is about a killer tire that discovers it has psychic powers to blow crap up.

This has got to be good. I'm so excited!!

Haha it's better with friends. We commentated on it since the tire is an inanimate object and can't talk. We kind of played a "what's going on in the tire's head?" game and it was interesting to say the least.

Yeah he was rolling around for like the first 10 minutes of the movie. It was like watching a baby take its first steps...then it blew up a rabbit and I became very frightened and tried to figure out what in its past made this tire so angry it had to act like this.
