I like Bruce Willis.
But Dylan you're not thinking about it. Obviously it's a suicide mission but their job, as he said, is to kill your target and not let him go...even if it's you.
And if he killed his future self, then he would have a lot of time to live until he got to that point in his life and he goes back in time to kill himself. But if he kills his younger self then he ceases to exist any longer because he died in the past which means he dies in the future.
It's kind of interesting, because if you choose not to kill yourself in the future then your organization would be after you as they obviously wanted you dead for some reason. But also if they choose to rebel that means that the future version wouldn't be apart of the organization therefore wouldn't be sent back to kill. So I assume he follows through but the older version dies.
BUT if that's the case it would still leave the younger version alive which would always lead to the older version so that means he would never REALLY die like the organization obviously wants.
So I'm left very confused at how this movie ends at all and doesn't continue on a vicious and boring cycle.... =\ |
