Ironically, on my first day back at work, I was walking into the office Monday afternoon and I got a text saying someone in our building tested positive for covid-19. And for some reason we aren’t all working from home?

I’m at home in a two-week (at least) doctor-ordered quarantine. Waiting to hear if I’m getting a test...

Pretty sure I more likely got it from the Metro here in DC. My friend in Seattle who I was with for four days straight is totally fine and SeaTac was nearly empty when I flew home. But who knows...

Yeah I ordered food tonight and just had the delivery guy leave it on my front steps. I’m supposed to sign for a UPS package tomorrow, though...not sure how that’s going to work out.

I was supposed to see Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers on Monday but it got postponed to May...kinda relieved.

These people are the reason there will be a shortage. Just buy what you need.

Thermometers are as impossible to find as hand sanitizer right now.

I video chatted with my doctor again this morning and she concurred with me that I most likely just have an upper respiratory infection, but I’m continuing to monitor it.

Reminder that COVID-19 isn’t the only virus that exists! You can still get the flu, colds, strep, etc.

It ended up being a non-issue. They just left it on my porch and we had no interaction. It was a $250 Dyson vacuum that def required signature, though. Lol.

Yeah he’s making billions precisely for that reason—it’s at the expense of exploited labor that allows us to get our orders that quickly.

If I didn’t live in a city I would opt out of Amazon but it so hard not to rely on it.

My cousin’s girlfriend got hurt on the job while working at an Amazon warehouse when she was pregnant and wow did she get treated like shit.

She didn’t get any disability, was on leave without pay. Couldn’t take legal action. It was a whole thing.
