I'm at the A's last home game right now (lol why) and I just heard about it when we had a moment of silence for him. Sent chills down my spine. He's the same age as I am...so incredibly sad.

The fact that that was Gordon's first HR of the year, too.


The Diaz grand slam was pretty special--he and Fernandez grew up down the street from each other in Cuba.
