Lucas was the best of the boys imo. He kept things REAL!
Holly over Hopper Boc cmon |
Holly batted 100% on her scenes so there's something to be said for that (:
I honestly got pretty annoyed with Lucas during the middle of the season. He was kind of a necessary part of the group's dynamic but I feel like he was being pretty UNREASONABLE toward Eleven most of the time. But I liked him again once the gang got back together |
I love you. You're so on point. |
SORRY HERE TO BACK CURTIS UP. Lucas was my favorite of the boys.
Tbh I thought all of his behavior towards Eleven was 100% warranted. Sorry but if my friend brought home a freaky Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta child look-a-like who had weirdo powers and nosebleeds all the time I'd be as angsty as he was. Not unreasonable in the least.
If anybody was unreasonable towards Eleven, it was the scientist assholes (obviously).

YES. Will Byers most precious, even when barfing up slugs and lyin' about it. <3
You know you're watching a good show when you like all of the characters for different reasons. If you have a hard time choosing a favorite, it's usually a good sign. That was definitely the case for me here. | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

Just finished season 2, finally! Was waiting until I got back to California to watch with my dad.

Overally I really enjoyed this season. The Hopper/Eleven storyline was really touching and I liked that we got to see more of characters like Lucas, Dustin, and the new random girl.
Absolutely hated almost everything about the Eleven-only episode until she decided to leave Chicago. Everything about the episode--the set, the characters, the dialog--was really cheesy and bad. Could have done without most of this, but I guess we needed to see some internal struggle in Eleven beyond the whole thing with her mom.
Steve was an absolute badass all season--definitely the highlight character for me.
Very sad about the death of Samwise Gamgee, though I saw it coming miles away. The wholesome, sincere little RadioShack professional was just too pure for this world.
This show is starting to remind me a lot of LOST in quite a bit of ways. I really hope the writers know how they want it all to end and the entire series has a satisfying ending. I could see the storyline getting kind of convoluted and out of hand, otherwise, but I think they stayed on track well this season.
And lastly, it didn't really strike me until this season what an incredible actor Noah Schnapp (Will Beyers) is. I think he's easily the best of the entire cast. |
