Your logic sounds right Rose. If there's max 1 cult left, they only win by being the sole survivor. But, I think the only way for there to be cult is if im317 was lying about their delay action. Not worth worrying about right now.

Go ahead and read through Rose's posts. Given what we now know about cult recruiter, I don't see a way for Ahoda to have been culted. And even if so, I don't see how Cult can be as big of a threat as Mafia. Do you agree?

Given that they are dead, it seems they were targeted with a killing action. If they selected a target last night, the target should be dead. I see no reason why they wouldn't have selected a target. So, I have to conclude they were delayed out of killing someone.

I don't think Shadow is Mafia.

The main evidence for people believing Shadow was Mafia was Farlig's claim on day 4 and Shadow's subsequent vote against Farlig instead of JJ.

Ahoda told us that he was able to deflect a kill and was targeting Curtis that night. So, that could easily be the explanation for how Curtis died. Shadow's vote for Farlig makes sense, given that Farlig was accusing Shadow.

People also lumped in Shadow with the last minute rush, but that's not really accurate if you look at the details. Shadow voted Farlig, but not at the literal last minute.

Shadow, please take a look at Rose's posts. There can't be cult left based on what we know about cult recruiter and the roleblocks.

If there's no cult, we have to look at who is likely to be Mafia. And Ahoda doesn't really make sense there compared to say, Brian who swooped in at literally 6:59 to save JJ.

I'm really thinking both im317 and Brian are Mafia. Why would im317 have blocked Stargate last night instead of Ahoda if he was thinking Ahoda was cult? Why would they both have saved JJ at literally the last minute, while giving im317 Kevin?

If we kill Ahoda today and you're wrong, im317 blocks you while Brian kills you. Then it's a 2-2 tie the next day and mafia wins the following night.

If Shadow is mafia, even if I tie it, mafia will just kill someone and win.

That means the only possible way to win is if Shadow isn't mafia.

If I tie it in that case, Mafia just kills you, it is 2-2 and unwinnable

If we kill Ahoda, it eliminates Shadow's suspect and maybe they shoot Brian overnight.

Feels like a dumb way to potentially end it, but to me, a loss is a loss. I don't care if it looks dumb if it gives a silghtly above 0 chance to win vs a 0 chance.

Because my win condition is contingent on there being no other third party still remaining. Brian is probably scum yes, but I need the final third party gone.

But, even if that's your win condition, that would let you know that 3rd party existed in this game. But I wouldn't imagine you'd be told when 3rd party is wiped out, so I don't see how you could know whether 3rd party is still in this game.

Right, I'm willing to entertain your argument, but in the face of uncertainty, my inclination is to prolong the game, in case people have powers or secrets that might somehow get us out of this mess.

I believe you, it would be an unnecessarily elaborate lie given that a mafia of 3 would have the game locked up at this point.

I'll make you a deal. we lynch Ahoda now, you shoot Brian tonight, we lynch im317 tomorrow. We both get a win. My only condition is that I give Rose a chance to chime in before I commit, we've been town together this whole game and I just want to give them a chance to comment in case there's something I should know. I mean, I think you're kingmaker here and can choose whether town or mafia wins. You ended up on the same side of the votes as mafia because you were both hunting cult, but I don't think y'all ever made a deal. I was willing to hear you out, make a deal, and I'd love to end my 1st game with a win. Up to you.

Alright, I'm in. As I said, I'll give Rose a chance to comment before pulling the trigger. But, I don't see an alternate winning path for us.
