Fun fact: It took the band 8 years to make half of the album (because it is so complex), and in 8 days it will be 7 years later and they still haven't released the second half.

Merc - Wintersun "Sons of Winter and Stars" - Is this an elder scrolls theme tune? Sounds pretty gay so far tbh, but I am only 30 seconds in. Ok, the vocal just came in. Yep, this is super gay. Sorry Merc haha.

One-note and then just ends. At least I liked that note.

Oh god this is a hot contender for worst song I've ever heard.
At least it reminded me that Nu-metal is dead, which made me slightly more happy.

Seals and Croft "Hummingbird"
Wasn't big on the intro, but liked the rest.
Ended up being one of the two songs I got stuck on my mind.

Ride On "Right On by Phospherescent"
Thought this one was kinda good, not much else to say TBH.

The Walker Brothers "The Electrician"
I would need to be as high as the Walker Brothers were to enjoy this to the fullest.
The middle bit was excellent though.

Queensryche “Another Rainy Night Without You”
My hair instantly grew 20cm longer after listening to this.
Very generic but still kinda liked it. Maybe it's the Seinfeld isn't funny effect.

The Shins "So Now What - Flipped"
Might be my favorite of the bunch.
Haven't listened to the Shins for a long while so thanks for reminding me of them.

Sarah Slean "Sweet Ones"
Same as Wikey. Was this used in some movie(s) or trailer(s) back in the 2000s? might be just the cliche-ness though.

Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox, Haley Reinhart "Seven Nation Army"
The singer made me think of American Idol / those kinda shows and of course she got famous from that lol.
The thing about covers is that they either need to be better than the original or change it enough make it their own thing, this one manages to do the latter.
So if I'm in a dimly lit 1930's theme bar I might prefer this version over the original while I drink my neat single malt scotch, otherwise meh.

Flatbush Zombies "Headstone"
Get money, fuck bitches, gang gang gang, 100 movie references?
Didn't like a couple of short parts, but liked the rest. Funnily enough this ended up being the other song stuck on my mind.

Flogging Molly "Drunken Lullabies"
What the others said, still not bad.

NIKI "Indigo"
This one came up when I got to the parking lot of the supermarket I frequent.
I usually don't give a damn if people hear whatever shit I'm listening to but damn this felt so embarrassing, Barbie Girl by Aqua would have been preferable.
At least it can compete with Get Naked.
