I gave it an 8/10 Peppinos since I think watching it on Rabbit made it worse, where it was like a 7/10.

The first half (more like 2/3rds?) were superb IMO, the humor was on point and the Alfredo/Toto dynamic was great. Alfredo was really the star of the movie.
The romance was meh. Toto got his movie romance though which was fitting for the movie and the humor was still good. The movie started getting bittersweet at his point and lost the sweetness when it came to Toto's adult life along with the rest of the humor.
The movie definitely didn't need any more symbolism, I'm sure a bunch of it went over my head. Can't believe I didn't see the Cinema burning down coming with all that foreshadowing though.
Generally just a really good coming of age story.
