Keiko, the Killer Whale better known as Willy, was released into the open sea from Iceland in 2002.
He wasn't able to integrate with the wild Orcas, but followed some of them to Norway. There he sought human contact and allowed kids to ride on his back.
Just over a year later he died there.

Was releasing him a mistake or was it the right thing to do?
