Saying your intrusive thoughts out loud to people is super scary...

So B?

I picked a.

I pretty much always say what's on my mind anyway. My more rated R and beyond thoughts? That would generate a lot of weird discussion. Welcomed

You couldn't have a normal conversation anymore since you wouldn't stop talking when the person you are talking to is speaking.

Saying your intrusive thoughts means that if you're holding someone's baby, you might say "What would happen if I throw this baby across the room? Do it."
If you have intrusive thoughts that is.

You would literally stop interacting with other people, while if you're mute you can use other means to communicate.
No one will want to be near you.

People who chose A haven't really thought about the consequences.
Or want to become a hermit.

God I so wish this was possible. Everyone that picked A would kill themselves in a few weeks. People aren't thinking how horrible this would be that you would literally have to say EVERYTHING on your mind.

Not everyone thinks horrible things like you Igor

You literally wouldn't stop talking, you would get fired, people around you would leave you, you wouldn't want to go anywhere near people, not even to the supermarket out of shame.

You would be like the crazy homeless person you see in some cities, and eventually become him unless you do what Igor said.

A people spend 2 hours literally saying everything that comes to your mind to practice

Not just everything you think of to say, everything you think of.

I'd be fired immediately. I do know people who seem to say everything on their mind and I want to kill them. That person in the meeting who asks over 50% of the questions and is totally unaware of how annoying they are, for example. But, still, this is an either or extreme and never talking again is the worst choice for me.

Those people are saying everything or a lot that comes to mind to say, not everything on their mind, it would be much, much worse.

Also- trying to get around the "not speak" by saying you'll write it down or type it or such is cheating. I read this as "Not able to communicate... period".

what a weird pile of assumptions

Not really- if you can still communicate, then people have an "out". Kinda like the people who use their "wish" to wish for more wishes. It tells you nothing about the person's choice other than they look to game the system.

That's really not the question, the question is: Do you want to always or never speak for the rest of your life?

That's really not the question, the question is: Do you want to always or never speak for the rest of your life?

That's because the person who wrote the original question that Curtis borrowed from didn't understand the concept of a good cognitive review on questions of this sort. For example, "speak" has a number of definitions which can lead to folks answering the question under wrong assumptions. For example, two definitions of "speak" are:

5. to make a statement in written or printed words.
6. to communicate, signify, or disclose by any means; convey significance.

Now, if you use only the "verbal" definition of speak, then you think you can get around this to cheat the question, whereas using all the definitions of "speak" means you either say everything on your mind or you never communicate with anyone. *NOW* the question becomes much harder.

Huh, I've never seen it used for 6, this thing needs to cite its sources.
Weird to think of sign language as a form of speaking,

If that's the case then you should choose A and make yourself mute to function in society.

The loophole in Vlady's case is choosing A and "saying" everything that you don't want to say out loud in a form of communication you make up.
Like toe wiggling.

Communication requires the transfer of information, so unless someone understands your toe wiggling language, you can't use that as a cop out.

It doesn't say communicate, you can express yourself without having an audience.
If you write a book that no one reads, does the book say nothing?

CURIOUS. Would anyone who voted A consider themselves more of an introvert? And would anyone who voted B consider themselves an extrovert?

What did you vote for and why?

I ask the questions around here a-hole

Curtis: "What did I vote for and why again?"
