So is Tyrion...supposed to be in love with Dany? Was that why he was so upset about her and Jon together? Apparently some people took it as he loves her and others took it as if he plotted against her in his deal with Cersei or some shit, I don't remember getting that vibe at all |
I didn't get those vibes either, he did seem concerned, maybe because he might lose his place to Jon?
Maybe they just felt the scene wasn't bad enough after like 4 episodes of teasing so they threw him in there to make it even more meh.

We don't really think Tormund and Beric are dead do we? People are just assuming they died |
It's going to take more than one blue-eyed white dragon to kill Tormund and Beric.

I kinda doubt Jon wants the throne enough to turn it into them fighting |
He could be like Stannis and take it out of duty, personally I think it will drive Dany more crazy realizing she's not the heir she always thought she was and become the Mad queen rather than Jon wanting to take the throne
|
Or... they get married, make baby human-dragons, and rule together?

I feel it will end tragically, Jon alone with his heir and ice dragon Viserion
|
With the pacing being faster and faster each episode, it'd be hilarious if she discovers she's pregnant and has the baby in the same episode.

That sounds great @ throwing the letter in the fire
I kinda wanna read the books but I don't wanna bother starting if he never finishes them. I'd be so mad if the tv show ending was the only ending I had |
It'd still be worth it, and he's only 68, he's going to finish the books before he croaks.
And if he doesn't finish the last book, a lot of it is probably already written, definitely the ending

He may be 68 but it's taken him 7+ years to write TWOW, and there's not much reason to believe ADOS will come out any quicker. In which case he'd be at least 75 when it comes out, and considering how fat he is there's a very decent likelihood he won't make it that far unfortunately
That said it doesn't matter so much to me if he finishes them either. Obviously I'd prefer it but I wouldn't regret reading them at all if he never gets to write the ending |
Yeah but you have to take into account that he's probably already written most of ADOS at least in his head while writing all the books and especially now with TWOW since it's both all connected and some chapters he writes for TWOW he'll move to ADOS like in the last two books.
I doubt the wait will be this long for ADOS.

Littlefinger, evil Machiavellian genius who orchestrated a bloody civil war...outwitted by children!
Varys, a guy so sneaky that his nickname is literally 'The Spider'...reduced to a fat asexual loser who hangs around uttering smarmy one liners now and again.
Honestly, I don't think they have kept true to a single character. The two aforementioned are obvious examples, along with Jamie, but really, who have they portrayed faithfully over the past several seasons? (Consider how dull Tyrion has become, when before every scene he was in was gold). They have all become skin deep, with the writers relying on one liners as a substitute for actual dialogue. As a result, nobody gives a damn what happens to any of them!
And on top of all this they've set up a boring good vs evil narrative with Cersei on one side and literally everyone else on the other. Fheh |
Can't wait for the books to do them justice!
