Yeah I think last time around the problem was getting everybody to agree to a date and then I got busy with other stuff.

Basically how I envision it working is that somebody is the dealer and they have a real deck of cards which they virtually deal out to each player and onto the table. The dealer then posts publically which cards are on the table in a public group chat and sends each player a private message with their respective hands. From there it just plays out as normal with the dealer moderating the round.

With regards to chips, either one person can keep tabs on how much each player has or everybody can keep track of their own. Not sure which will work best.

I can deal the whole game or we can alternate. I'd like to play as well as deal, but if alternating the dealer over-complicates things we can just stick with one.

Apparently Random.org has this thing. If somebody wants to deal/moderate a round you can use this instead.

I'd rather use a real deck personally though it'll be a tiny bit slower to arrange. But that's just because I'm anal when it comes to "true random". random.org isn't quite as random as shuffling a real deck.

If you can link me to a site that's not chock full of spyware and does everything we need, we can do it that way instead. I don't mind, I'm just not very well versed in playing online.
