It's making me exercise, get out in the sun and even curing some of my crippling social anxiety so while I do appreciate it comes across as silly to some, it's bringing a little window of joy into the day to day drudgery of many!

Also anybody using a phone whilst driving deserves to be removed from the gene pool, game or no game.

The actual gameplay is derivative and simple. There are a ton of bugs making it a frustration. It really shouldn't be successful, and if any other license were attached to the game it probably wouldn't be. But it's pokemon. It's riding high on waves of nostalgia mostly. For those of us who did play the original games and have fond memories, it's something more. It's an escapism into a world that we spent our childhoods wanting to be a part of.

It's so simple and quick to play and understand that anybody can pick it up and take part in seconds. The game doesn't require nor heavily rely on micro-transactions (at least at the earlier accessible levels and even later it's just to avoid grinding).

They do need to get on and implement more server stability, bug fixes and actual content. It's not going to pique people's interests for very much longer without it. The instant rush will soon die down.

THIS GOT BORING QUITE FAST

Once you hit level 20 the game just zones out. It's so impossible to progress and the sheer amount of bugs and lack of updates are hurting it dramatically.

They really need to build in more functionality soon.
