I'm going to be rolling out a change to the way NDim stores your user information in cookies sometime today. The current system is a little archaic and insecure (and puts too much pressure on the server). There are a wealth of better opportunities available with the new system as well as added security (your username and password won't be stored anywhere on your PC) and it should improve performance slightly once I'm done fine-tuning it.
The only downside to this is that it will force you all to be logged out of your accounts. If you don't know your password and are relying purely on the site remembering you're logged in, now would be a good time to update your password in your profile. You don't need to know your old password to do this.

I would also recommend having an up to date email address in case you need to do a password reset. I can't give an exact time-frame for the update but I'd estimate in about 5 or 6 hours from now. | I rolled this out successfully. Still sorting out a few teething issues but mostly good.
For extra security, you might want to delete all of your pre-existing cookies for NDimension forums. This will ensure your password data isn't saved anywhere on your computer. If that aspect doesn't worry you then feel free to continue on.
Deleting your cookies for NDim will log you out, remove any typed in passwords on forums, remove any ordering you have set on forums and undo your mobile settings. It'll also move the taskbar to it's default position. I'll be working on ways to further improve the cookies on NDim in the near future but for now this is a much more secure model. | Let me know if you think performance is better or worse after this update. By and large I wouldn't think it would make a huge difference. |
