Also Microsoft isn't interested in making popular software. IE is a testament to that fact.

I'm keeping it permanently at version 6 because that's still the most commonly used old version, and it's also the last one where most websites didn't actually work.

Good for testing. If you want to try and break a webpage, generally opening it in IE will suffice.
