Yeah this should be good. Tempted to breeze through the first four seasons to catch up.

I have to say, my only concern is that I didn't watch it when it aired. I watched in bulk with hardly a break between episodes. I'm wondering if it's a show that comes across better in one sitting without the week's break.

I haven't watched this at all but I've been told to watch it many times. Going to make it my new show after I'm done watching the 13 episodes of Suits that I have left.

It's worth it. It'll be fun to discuss the episodes in real-time as they air (just like old times but without the crazy theories).

Might skip the premiere to do a brief re-watch. Not sure.

GUD episode. A little slow but only to be expected. Also lol @ flashforward Jackface Walt. I hope they don't leave that until the very end of the season. It'll probably be the mid-season break.

Ted won't end here. He's a checkhov's gun waiting to go off. He already screwed up his WORD with the money in the first place. I think Ted could be one of the catalysts in Walt's fall.

Bryan Cranston really surprised me in this role at every turn. I couldn't imagine a better candidate. He's really showcased a range here.

I really liked the opening scene even though it seemingly had no major importance to anything. There was something really sinister and captivating about it.

It's one of those scenes like the loading the trucks for Pollos that is powerful and stand-alone. This show is great at doing that.

Triple post. I also really like that Madrigal came back into the picture at all. It'd be so easy just to sweep stuff like that under the rug with a new season and focus entirely on the collapse of Gus' empire and the handful of contacts in the immediate vicinity but they always like to take it full force and cover every last loose end. Very impressive and tight writing.

TIGHT, TIGHT TIGHT!

QUADRUPLE POST.

I just really love their ability to build up this sense of a "complete universe". It might not be vastly interesting or deeply captivating for now but it's incredible in its scope.
