I'm an exceptionally picky eater and I don't think I'd last very long without meat because I eat so little of anything else. Though I'd be forced to eat to live so it might be different.
In spite of this, I have no moral qualms with eating meat and I think it'd be a bit hypocritical to refuse to eat it just because I had to face up to the gruesome reality of where it came from. I do second Boc's point though. It's more about the extended process so if I just had to do the kill I'd be fine but going the whole way would take a long time to do every single meal. | |

Killing one cow would give you enough food for probably close to a year or more. So you wouldn't have to go through that whole process every single time. Then again, I'm assuming you get a freezer in this arrangement lol |
That's a good point. For some reason I'm picturing it as something really primal and post-apocalyptic.
