Not necessarily. We only need to turn on like 5 of them right? If some are close and others are a lost cause why waste our time?

Did someone say we get the generator stats at the end do the day? In that case why keep it secret? That's the info we need to solve this

It's important to claim the chests as soon as possible. Both full and empty ones. The ability to narrow down alignment as well as determining a figure on how many of the chest claimers are lying probably outweighs most of the shit that's in them. If you take the knowledge of your prize to the grave it leave a big gap in knowledge for town.
